1. The organiser

2. Trade fairs
DuuniExpo is a networking and recruitment event organised by LAB-ammattikorkeakoulu students to bring together businesses, job seekers and consumers in the region. Admission to the event is free.
3. Registering as an exhibitor
Binding registration as an exhibitor is made through the online store of duuniexpo.eu sites or by sending an email to myynti@duuniexpo.eu. After receiving the registration, the Organiser accepts the exhibitor's registration and confirms it electronically to the exhibitor. The organizer has the right to refuse registration. The exhibitor may not rent or transfer its stand or part thereof without the Organiser's written permission.
4. Location of exhibition stands
The organiser will decide on the final location of the stands, taking into account the appropriate use of space and, where appropriate, the grouping of exhibitors by sector. The organiser reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary in the run-up to the event.
5. Conditions for changes and cancellations
The exhibitor has the right to cancel their registration or reduce the size of the reserved exhibition space within fourteen (14) days of registering as an exhibitor. Cancellations or changes to the size of the exhibition space must be made in writing. If an exhibitor cancels his/her registration or reduces the size of his/her exhibition space fourteen (14) days after registration, but at least thirty (30) days before the fair, he/she is obliged to pay half (50%) of the agreed final price. If the exhibitor cancels their registration or reduces the size of their exhibition space later, the Organiser has the right to charge the participation fees in full in accordance with the confirmed registration. If registration is made closer to thirty (30) days before the start of the event, the reservation is binding from the date of registration.
6. Return of the right to use the exhibition site to the organiser
The exhibition venue will be returned to the fair organizer:
a) if the exhibitor cancels his/her registration or b) if the exhibitor does not take the exhibition space into use by 10:15 a.m. on the day of the fair at the latest, unless otherwise agreed, or c) the exhibitor otherwise materially violates the terms of participation or the instructions given to supplement them. If the right to use the exhibition space is returned to the Organiser in accordance with this section, the Organiser has the right to charge the participation fees in full in accordance with the registration confirmed by the Organiser, taking into account the change and cancellation conditions in section 5. In this case, the organiser has the right to:
resell the showroom or use the space for other purposes.
7. Payment terms
The organiser will send an invoice to the exhibitor in February 2024, once the exhibitor has accepted the terms of the contract and participation, and fulfilled the contract with billing information. The payment period for the invoice is 14 days from the invoice date. Interest on arrears according to the Interest Act.
8. General terms and conditions for the hire of equipment
The Renter does not have the right to transfer furniture to a third party without the consent of the Organiser.
The Customer must immediately point out any defects detected in the rented products and offer the Organiser the opportunity to rectify them. If such notification has not been made promptly or if it
is made only after the return of the products, the Organiser is not obliged to compensate for any inconvenience caused. Rented furniture is returned to the landlord in the same condition as it was
when handing over to the lessee. The organizer has the right to charge the renter for cleaning costs of furniture and decorations returned dirty. The renter is responsible for any damage to the furniture. Broken or lost furniture must be compensated in the amount of the new purchase price, including the acquisition costs.
9. Exhibiting and stand construction
Consignments arriving at trade fairs must be marked with the name of the company and the name of the trade fair. The fair organiser cannot acknowledge receipt of goods on behalf of the exhibitor and is not responsible for unpacking, storing or delivering the goods after the fair. The exhibitor is responsible for setting up, decorating, dismantling, dismantling, cleaning, cleaning and waste management of their own stand. Any kind of attachment to the ceiling, pillar and wall structures of the exhibition halls is prohibited. The Organiser has the right to intervene in the construction and decoration of the stand if the Organiser has not approved plans deviating from their general terms and conditions in advance. If the exhibitor ering walls, etc. structures, the external surfaces of which are visible to neighboring compartments or corridors, he must also take care of their tidying. The exhibitor does not have the right to advertise his products outside the boundaries of his own stand. The weight/m2 of exhibits weighing more than 1000 kg must be notified in advance to the Organiser. The exhibitor is not allowed to bring to the stand equipment that generates heat or waste that is difficult to clean (e.g. popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, etc.)
10. Damages and insurance
The organiser has taken out liability insurance against the liability that may arise under current law for damages caused by its own operations. The exhibitor's right to compensation for the damage suffered is limited to the amount of compensation received from this insurance. The organizer is not responsible for any financial or consequential damage caused to the exhibitor, such as lost profit
or business interruption. Correspondingly, the Exhibitor is responsible for the structures, equipment and
exhibits, etc. breakage, theft, etc. on property. Damages. Exhibitor
is responsible for all personal, property and other damage caused to third parties (such as the fair audience or other exhibitors), the Organiser, the exhibition buildings and/or the fair area caused by its stand structures, equipment, exhibits, operations and subcontractors. The exhibitor must take care of obtaining the appropriate product, operational liability and other necessary and comprehensive insurance in case of damage
11. Electricity supply and works
The organiser is responsible for the general lighting of the area. Exhibitors are responsible for the electrical equipment they bring to the stand. The organiser is not responsible for the loss or breakage of electrical equipment or for any damage caused by a power failure. The exhibitor, as holder, is responsible for the electrical equipment he brings to the stand.
12. Security, fire and other safety
In terms of fire safety, you must comply with the general laws, regulations and fire safety guidelines in force in the exhibition area. Access roads must be kept open in case of emergency evacuation. Prior permission must be obtained from the fire authorities for the display of equipment that may pose a risk to fire safety. Smoking is only permitted outside in separate smoking areas. Machinery and other equipment must be displayed in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and Regulations. The organiser is responsible for fire prevention and public order in the exhibition area, but not for any damage to or loss of goods, structures, etc.
13. Submissions
The exhibitor is responsible for the appropriate preliminary inspection of the films, video programmes, other image programmes and recordings presented at the organiser's premises, as well as for the fees required by the Copyright Act for the music and other works it performs. Presentations should not disturb neighboring departments. The volume in the department is monitored and disturbing performances are interrupted. For demonstrations that attract a large number of audiences and their audience, a space isolated from the corridor must be reserved on the wall.
14. Parking and permits
The organiser will inform exhibitors before the fair about parking, access permits and other instructions.
15. General provisions
Distribution of printed material is only permitted in the exhibition space rented by the exhibitor. Retail and other sales are permitted in the exhibition space rented by the Exhibitor, unless specifically prohibited by the Organiser. In all cases, retail sales are permitted only to the extent permitted by law.
16. Organiser's right to postpone or cancel the fair
The organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the fair if it cannot be carried out within the stated time due to force majeure. Similarly, the right of cancellation and postponement is granted if the qualitative objectives of the exhibition would not be achieved, for example due to a shortage of exhibitors.
17. Advertising
During the event, the organiser must be reserved the right to rectify any inconveniences or deficiencies concerning the exhibitor. All comments regarding arrangements under the responsibility of the Organiser must be made in writing immediately after their occurrence and no later than 7 days after the end of the event.
